Collaborative, experimental, and ever-evolving, Chiesi Gardens celebrates the plurality of thought and diversity of perspective. Its program—spanning research projects, call for ideas, public talks and exhibitions—creates a forward-looking path toward open innovation, knowledge exchange, and collective growth.
Since 2018, Chiesi explored the future of its Via Palermo site, in Parma, through surveys, historical research and multidisciplinary studies involving a growing number of people — both inside and outside the company. This collaborative process has clarified the site’s identity, mapped needs and opportunities, and defined a participatory and open way of making and designing hybrid places where private and public meet.
The international Call for Ideas “Restore to Impact” marked the opening of Chiesi’s Via Palermo regeneration to the external world, inviting professionals and under30 talents to share possibilities and forms of intervention based on the principles of “kindness” and “connectivity” to reflect on the architectural future of the site.
The regeneration of the Chiesi site in Via Palermo embraced external perspectives through an invitation-only call. Three international firms, selected after a rigorous screening based on sustainability, social impact, and design vision, shared their proposals, enriching the strategic approach of the project and enhancing its forward-looking, community-oriented direction.
Chiesi Gardens is the result of a collective journey made possible by an ever‑growing multitude of competences, professionals, passionate teams, and companies that we wish to thank one by one.
